I Ride: 2013 Diavel Chromo
Diavel temperature profile

Just for fun, I took temperature readings off engine components and tires on a 2013 Diavel after a 55-mile run on the interstate (45 miles) and secondary roads and streets (10 miles). Speed limits ranged from 55 to 70 mph and 25 to 45 mph, respectively. The ambient air temperatures ranged from 68 to 71 deg. F. Measurements were made using a Kintrex digital infrared laser thermometer (model IRT0421) with an accuracy of +/- 2 deg. F. The bike's own temperature gauge read 205 deg. F. Here are the Kintrex measurement results, all in deg. F., and rounded off:

- Right and left radiators: 200 (no significant difference noted between left and right)
- Oil filter shell case: 180
- Lower engine casing: 220
- Front and rear cylinder exhaust pipes: 385 (no significant difference noted between each)
- Termi exhaust pipe, Y-connector before muffler: 200
- Font tire: 105
- Rear Tire 110

Will follow up with updates and other measurements.
